Co-operative Governance Professional Development Session

Have you just joined the board, management or membership of your co-operative, or are you simply wanting to strengthen you knowledge of co-operative governance? This is the program for you.
An intensive and tailored day of professional development for new, experienced or future directors, managers and members of co-operatives.
Topics covered include: National and International Co-operative Context, Co-operative Principles and Values, Co-operative National Law and Regulations, Directors’ Roles and Responsibilities, Good Governance Principles and Conduct, Conflicts of Interest, Effective Board Meetings, Co-operative Financial Statements and Reporting.
Learn and network with other co-operative leaders in THE practical program specific to co-operatives. All materials and, of course, tea, coffee and lunch are included.
Presenter Sam Byrne FAICD is the Secretary of The Co-op Federation and co-author of Co-operatives in Australia: A Manual (all participants receive a copy of the second edition published in 2017).
The Federation is a not-for-profit membership-based peak body supporting, promoting and representing co-operatives and the co-operative enterprise model.

Cost (before bursary): $285
