Co-op Builder

Draft your co-op rules

The Co-op Builder is a FREE step-by-step tool to help groups prepare and understand the legal documents required to form a co-operative in Australia.

Farmer groups can access the Farming Together Co-op Builder along with additional resources for farmers at Farming Together. The Farming Together team are updating the platform and it is currently offline. You can visit the Farming Together website and register to be notified when it is available. Farming Together is a Federal Government initiative managed by Southern Cross University from the SCU campus in Lismore, NSW.

The Co-op Builder (below) is designed to suit any co-operative enterprise or purpose.

The initial development of the Co-op Builder was funded by the Federal Government to help farmers and other primary producers to form co-operatives. It is adapted and published under licence from the Southern Cross University.

On 1 December 2020, the Co-operatives National Law (CNL), was commenced in Queensland. BCCM has updated the Co-op Builder to reflect this change for co-operatives registering in Queensland.
