Co-operative Foundations online modules

BCCM has launched its Co-operative Foundations online modules. These modules have been developed to provide farmers, fishers and foresters a foundational understanding of co-operatives and how working together in a co-op increases the profits, efficiency, and value of participating agricultural businesses and their sector as a whole, now and for the future.

Capital Partners Project

The Capital Partners Project is an exchange of knowledge and experience between capital market experts and co-operatives and mutuals that are considering options for raising external capital. Its private online events will help Capital Partners to consider how best to raise capital to grow their business.

Mutual Value Measurement (MVM) Virtual Masterclass

This Virtual Masterclass led by Dr Paul Thambar (Monash Business School) is designed to help CME executives and their teams to develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the framework, as well as the necessary tools to implement the framework within their organisation. Facilitated by the MVM research team, the virtual masterclass will run for around four hours (breaks will be included).

Getting to know your region and community

This is a two week online Oricorp course that provides insight into understanding your community, your ecological assets and how to bring the two together to create a collaborative and practical solution for growers of all sizes.

Foundations of Directorship Course for CMEs
15 February 2021 - 3 March 2021 Online

This course has been designed specifically for co-operatives and mutuals to help contextualise the responsibilities for boards and directors operating within the sector. Over three days, participants will gain a foundational knowledge of their directorship duties and responsibilities with interactive workshop sessions covering board duties, meeting processes, finance, strategy and risk.
