Beyond Bushfires: Co-operative bushfire recovery

Ethical Fields and the Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutual (BCCM) is hosting a series of courses for Australian farmers, fishers and foresters, focusing on some of the key challenges and opportunities in the agricultural space. This course will look at post-bushfire challenges and opportunities, business resilience and recovery, and applying learning from bushfires to potential future challenges.
Farming Together’s online training modules

Farming Together’s online courses developed and hosted by Southern Cross University aim to develop collaborative understanding in Australian agriculture. Their first course aims to help people understand the variety of collaborative models, particularly co-operatives, prior to formation. It is designed for farming groups and consultants and is currently open for free to the public.
Capital Partners Project

The Capital Partners Project is an exchange of knowledge and experience between capital market experts and co-operatives and mutuals that are considering options for raising external capital. Its private online events will help Capital Partners to consider how best to raise capital to grow their business.
Foundations of Directorship Course for CMEs

This course has been designed specifically for co-operatives and mutuals to help contextualise the responsibilities for boards and directors operating within the sector. Over three days, participants will gain a foundational knowledge of their directorship duties and responsibilities with interactive workshop sessions covering board duties, meeting processes, finance, strategy and risk.
Mutual Value Measurement (MVM) Virtual Masterclass

This Virtual Masterclass led by Dr Paul Thambar (Monash Business School) is designed to help CME executives and their teams to develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the framework, as well as the necessary tools to implement the framework within their organisation. Facilitated by the MVM research team, the virtual masterclass will run for around four hours (breaks will be included).
Co-operatives and mutuals strategic development program (CMSDP) with Professor Tim Mazzarol

This online course delivered in an intensive format over three weeks focuses on what sets co-operative and mutual businesses apart from other business types, and provides critical insights into key strategic focus areas. This course will be delivered online by the Australian Institute of Management Western Australia (AIM WA) and the University of Western Australia Business School, Executive Education.
